KAELUM operates as a closed-loop arrangement, which the company considers falls within the exclusion at regulation 3 of the UK Electronic Money Regulations 2011.
Integrity & Verification
You do not have to take these figures on trust. Every platform event is written to an append-only ledger where each entry is hash-chained to the one before it with SHA-256, batched into a Merkle tree, signed, and independently timestamped by a third-party RFC 3161 timestamp authority. Altering any past record would break the chain and the timestamp, and would be detectable by anyone.
